HootSuite – Best Twitter Client for Scheduled Tweets and Tracking

Best Twitter ClientI love Hootsuite – it does everything you need if you use Twitter for business (in addition to pleasure).

The two main qualities that I really like are the ability to schedule Tweets and the Stat-counter – oh and the really easy user interface and did I mention the multi a/c use?

It’s nicely laid out, easy to grasp and it tracks individual tweets so that you can see what your readers are really intereested in.

In the video below I give you the briefest overview of a great way to use it that will save you heaps of time and prevent you having to spend all day over on Twitter…Tweeting! Let me know your thoughts about HootSuite below..

(I mention the ‘Library’ in this video – I’m referring to the library of videos we have in our members area at WebMums.com)

Great post. A great shortcut instead of going to the twitter site for everything is exactly what I need to save time.

Well wat about autotweeter ? . It is a desktop application. They dont have many advertisements like the biggies. But I think its a good tweet scheduler for all normal people like me .
    you can get it from
    http://www.autotweeter.in

I haven’t tried autotweeter John, but Hootsuite can be used by ‘normal people’ too ;)

I like Hootsuite for the ease of usability, the extensive stats, layouts and customization you can do so that it’s personally set up for the user. If you do have more than one Twitter a/c then it’s great for that as you can send a tweet out to one or more a/c’s or diff tweets to diff accounts all from the one interface. You just tick the profile you want that tweet to go to and it’s job done!

The stats log how many people clicked your links (if you use the Hootsuite url shortener) which is great to see what kind of info your followers like, that way you can give them more of what they want and it takes all of the guesswork out of it.

I’ve used a fair few Twitter clients and this is my favourite by far, although I haven’t used autotweeter before – I did pop over and take a look though :)

I think you did a paid review on HootSuite rt ?

        • Nikki Backshall says:

Sorry to disapoint John but I don’t do paid reviews and neither do Hootsuite offer any cash incentive for affiliates – feel free to check it out.

I have nothing to gain by you using the service or the one of your choice but through my blog and the services I try and recommend I can let others know what I think.

I’m not quite sure what you have against Hootsuite? And if I had done a paid review – I could of course have just deleted your last comment ;)

Maybe you are the creator of autotweeter?

I’ve just had another look at at it and it does nothing special at all, it says it can ‘mass follow’ under the radar – spamming isn’t something I’d encourage or recommend to my readers. it doesn’t have half the capabilities or functionality of Hootsuite, Tweetdeck or Twhirl and yet it’s a PAID app?

Hmm, well – you certianly got me to look again and I can safely say that autotweeter is something that I WOULDN’T recommend to my readers, not when there are far superior and free aps on the market.

But thanks again for bringing it to our attention, i’m sure that everyone will happily make their own minds up.
